Guodong Malaysia Signs Strategic Cooperation Memorandum with Berjaya Group

On August 18, Feng Kan, Head of the Third Southeast Asia Region and National Representative for Malaysia of the Group’s International Division, signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Strategic Cooperation with Levin Tan Eng Kien, Executive Director of Berjaya Group, on behalf of Guodong Malaysia.

Berjaya Group is a leading Malaysian multinational conglomerate with business operations spanning telecommunications, infrastructure, real estate, cultural‑tourism, energy and other sectors. It boasts extensive local government and enterprise resources, and holds an effective half‑stake in U Mobile, a well‑known Malaysian telecom operator, giving it deep roots in the local communications industry. In addition, Berjaya Group has family‑tie links with NAZA Group, a long‑established Malaysian business giant. The tower subsidiary under NAZA owns more than 300 communication towers across Malaysia.

The signing of this Memorandum marks the official launch of strategic cooperation between the two parties. Going forward, both sides will leverage their respective resources and business strengths to carry out comprehensive and in‑depth cooperation in the field of new communications infrastructure in Malaysia. Berjaya Group will serve as our core strategic partner in Malaysia, supporting our in‑depth development of the local communications infrastructure market and further consolidating our overall strategic footprint across Southeast Asia.
