From May 11 to 14, Lu Zhenhuan, Director and Vice President of Guodong Group, led a delegation to Guodong Kazakhstan for work inspection and guidance, and held talks with major Kazakh clients.

On the morning of the 12th, Vice President Lu held a meeting with Mermanov Nurlan Kimalovich, Chief Director of Strategy and External Asset Management of Kazakhtelecom, and other representatives. The two sides discussed matters concerning existing cooperation and engaged in cordial exchanges on data center businesses.

On the 13th, Vice President Lu visited the headquarters of Kazakhtelecom and held a working meeting with Mussin Bagdat Batyrbekovich, Chairman of the Board of Kazakhtelecom. The two parties conducted all-round communication on in-depth cooperation between Guodong Group and Kazakhtelecom, laying a solid foundation for follow-up collaboration.

During the visit, Vice President Lu and his entourage inspected existing data center projects of Kazakhtelecom. They also exchanged views on communications infrastructure construction with companies including Beeline, Aul Telecom, Kcell and Transtelecon successively.

Actively responding to China’s Belt and Road Initiative, Guodong Group keeps advancing pragmatic cooperation with Kazakhstan in the communications sector. This visit further consolidated strategic mutual trust between the Group and Kazakhtelecom, facilitated the implementation of multiple cooperation intentions, and demonstrated Guodong Group’s firm resolve and sense of responsibility to cultivate the Central Asian market and support local communications infrastructure development. Going forward, Guodong Group will continue to join hands with Kazakh partners to jointly advance regional communications development and elevate China-Kazakhstan economic and trade cooperation to new heights.
