Guodong Group Holds 2026 Mid-year Work & Annual Sprint Deployment Conference

From July 19 to 20, Guodong Group grandly convened the 2026 Mid-year Work Meeting and Annual Sprint Deployment Conference at the Guodong Conference Center. Centered on the theme “Press Forward with Unwavering Resolve, Forge Ahead to Secure Final Victory”, the meeting comprehensively reviewed work achievements in the first half of the year and sounded the clarion call for the all-out sprint in the second half.
Group leaders, regional executives in charge, heads of functional departments, and leaders of provincial subsidiaries and startup affiliates attended the meeting on-site. Core staff from group functional departments, management of provincial companies, division heads, and relevant executives of overseas regions participated online.
During the meeting, all business lines and subsidiaries reported on progress made in the first half as well as sprint plans for the second half. Group leaders set clear requirements for priority work: performance rankings represent honor and dignity. All staff must go all out to meet targets for the second half with the firm resolve to rise to challenges and strive for decisive victory.

Lu Jie, Chairman and President of the Group, delivered a work report titled “Unite as One to Charge Forward, Deliver Outstanding Achievements for the 30th Anniversary”. He noted that in the first half, the core business maintained steady growth, new tower construction registered continuous breakthroughs, overseas expansion moved forward in an orderly manner, and innovative businesses were vigorously developed. Nevertheless, multiple gaps and shortcomings remain. For the second half of the year, revolving around the theme of surging forward to claim victory, Chairman Lu put forward four key work requirements:
First, to rise to challenges demands grit, and top priority lies in boosting morale. Every leader of a business unit shall manage their respective operational zone with an owner’s mindset, take proactive initiative instead of waiting for support, and work on the front lines in person.
Second, to tackle tough tasks requires forceful measures, with target delivery as the core. Four major campaigns — the Core Business Defense Campaign, Overseas Expansion Campaign, Startup Breakthrough Campaign and Capital Market Listing Campaign — are all arduous battles that must be won. Accelerate new construction, pursue targeted mergers and acquisitions, advance overseas business steadily, and develop startups in a down-to-earth manner. No setbacks can be afforded in the push for listing.
Third, to secure decisive progress relies on effective approaches, with market expansion as the key. All leading cadres at every level must act as Chief Customer Managers, earn customers’ trust through sincerity and professionalism, and translate trust into orders.
Fourth, to claim final victory hinges on solid strength, and building capable teams is essential. Team leaders must be competent, and talent development must keep pace. Personnel who merely issue remote instructions or adopt a passive attitude will be reassigned without hesitation, while those who dare to take on responsibilities will be provided with platforms and resources. The Group will smooth internal talent mobility channels, encourage outstanding employees to gain frontline experience and grow amid real-world challenges.
This year marks the 90th anniversary of the victory of the Long March. On the eve of the August 1st Army Day, the conference featured special presentations in commemoration of the Army Day. Five veteran representatives shared inspiring stories of their endeavors, embodying the spirit of “Remaining Committed After Military Discharge, Striving for New Achievements at Work” among Guodong people.
On behalf of the Group, Chairman Lu extended festive greetings and high respect to all veterans. He stated that veterans have always constituted an exceptionally trustworthy force throughout Guodong Group’s development journey. He called on all Guodong employees to learn from outstanding veterans, draw strength from the Long March Spirit, and forge an elite combat team distinguished by extraordinary commitment, fighting capability, teamwork and innovation. Treat every single day as a decisive battle, every task as a military order, and every post as a frontline position. Earn honor through hard work and write a glorious chapter with solid performance!
